Graceway Baptist Church

MINISTRIES

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from Bible Studies to cleaning the church.

Men’s Bible Study Group

When a man functions within the principles of biblical manhood, those around him benefit. This study, designed to empower men by giving them a kingdom understanding, challenges and equips men to fully understand their position under God, learning to operate under the authority of Jesus Christ.
*Group meets once a month on the last Saturday @ 5pm

Women’s Bible Study Group

“Brunch with Jesus”

This study helps us to Understand How Much Jesus Loves Women.  The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John — records of Christ’s life and teachings) show us again and again that Jesus loved women in a day and age when women were considered property, without rights, without voices. No wonder women flocked to the Savior… He loves and values women as important in the Kingdom of God!
*Group meets every Tuesday @ 10am

Graceway Baptist Church “Help Ministry”

This ministry provides help with simple handyman chores for our church members and faithful attenders who no longer have the ability to do them on their own. Our volunteers are able to perform certain kinds of repairs as well as tasks such as changing light bulbs and air filters.
*POC: Pastor Michael Charles or Nelson Brown

 Music-Choir

God-honoring worship is something we strive for.  Many church members get involved in our music choir, with some playing their instruments.  Whatever the involvement, all are using their talents and gifts to glorify God

Community Ministry

This ministry has different functions throughout the year:
-All Church Effort (ACE): we pass out flyers in the community neighborhoods, to invite them to Graceway Baptist Church.
-Veterans Dinner Ministry: we set aside a time to provide a meal for military veterans.
-Thanksgiving & Christmas Baskets: we create baskets for those in need to help make the holiday’s a little easier.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty.  Once a quarter, the church comes together to update our prayer request sheet, which each member or attender will use to pray everyday.  Prayers for our pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.
*Group meets one a quarter
